In 2016 my son Cameron began his snowboard training with coach Tommie Bennett. At this time Cameron was a good snowboarder yet he had only been snowboarding for a couple of years. Tommie began by taking Cameron back to the basics, rebuilding and continuing to encourage Cameron to reach his highest potential. At the beginning of 2019, with Tommie’s coaching, Cameron was able to throw a Back Dub 10 plus many more amazing stylish tricks. Tommie took Cameron from a kid who loved snowboarding to a young man who is continuing to make snowboarding his own career. Tommie has not only been Cameron’s coach but also his mentor. He has helped build Cameron’s self-confidence, given him tools and advice on how to build a career in snowboarding and filming.
